443002:50-03:0000:10PAS light was black in TCS so I tried several times to take down and restart PAS server individually, and to kill all systems and start up everything including PAS. Nothing seemed to work, until after a long wait the PAS light mysteriously turned green, but the cameras were still unresponsive. The fix: Turns out the cameras had to be powered on after Herman reset the breaker to fix the PFIP problem at the beginning of the night. The PAS light remained black because PAS kept attempting to communicate with systems that were unresponsive, and it finally turned green after a long wait because the attempts timed out, or something like that. Powering on all of the cameras in PFIP Control tab (hitting the Power On All button) and restarting everything fixed the problem.
443101:12-02:0000:48PFIP was not "down" -- it looked like it was up and it was behaving according to 'top' but LDLS commands through TCS were unresponsive. (got a screenshot of error message) Column of PFIP-related lights in APC GUI was all gray-- this indicated a communications error. Circuit breaker in PFIP has a fuse that is too small for the amount of current that gets drawn when the lamps are on. The circuit breaker cut off and had to be manually reset.
443208:53-09:0000:07From about 08:00 to 08:50 PAS was moving VERY SLOWLY. It was messing with guiding and saving images that were necessary for the night's tests. Killed and restarted everything.
