479123:38-02:5503:17String pot skew error messages on TCS, and no actual skews- string pots or otherwise This seems to occur at the end of slews. Issue first occurred during OPS and was then passed on to the TO. Called: Jim, Brent.

Brent came to the telescope to further investigate since the issue over the phone was not obvious. After some investigating, Brent installed noise dampers on the newly installed (01/19/17) tracker brake solenoids. This fixed the issue for the remainder of the night. Note: We were able to take twilight's while waiting for Brent to arrive on site.
434203:44-03:5400:10HEFI died three times during focus curve. Title at the top was red. Tried restarting HEFI after each event in which it died. Focus curve worked after the third restart.
477611:25-11:2600:01Dome reported the it stopped at wrong position, however it still arrived at the requested azimuth. Had the RA send over the trajectory again and this cleared the issue.

TO CommentsHigh winds had us working downwind for majority of the night and at times closed us down. Otherwise clear skies with some high clouds midway through the night.

RA CommentsSky clear at sunset, but tracker issues prevent early sci obsrving. Closed due to wind and clouds several times. Did WFS engineering tests, but forced to work downwind much of the night. Heavy clouds at end of nigh
