Problem Reports
PR NumberTimesTime LostDescriptionResponse
420005:23-05:28, 07:03 - 07:0600:08Failed to acquire trajectory errors persisted after further attempts to Go Next.Had to restart TCS
419805:56-05:5800:02TCS not happy with automatically determined direction when moving to a target at 180.Input target info manually.
417905:59-06:0300:04Badminton birdie-shaped stars on ACQ camera, once again seemed like this happened after the correct_for_structure() function executed. (Stars did not look like badminton birdies before the move was made.)Restarted TCS and it worked.
419707:07-07:1200:05I was unable to do anything in Jove, even while the screen wasn't frozen. Text scrolled by on an HTCS terminal and SAMS looked like it was behaving normally. Control Desk/rdesktop was visually frozen.Had to hard reboot jove.
419607:20-07:3000:10Attempting to move to any target produced HFC/Master faults. It looks like this is because of a problem with H5 and Y-- both show orange Prof lights on Tracker Operations panel. H5 sometimes shows a yellow warning light, and when attempting to move Rto/Err lights turn red, and everything else halts. Upon clearing Master Fault the Y Rto/Err lights turn red and another Master Fault occurs which must then be cleared, but everything sometimes worked for a bit after second Master fault clearing. This started happening after a power blip was noticed in the control room. The servo cabinets were restarted, but that did not fix the problem. We were unable to continue with testing.
419907:30-07:3500:05TCS attempted to move tracker to next target even though tracker was not initialized. This caused the tracker to move outside of X software limit, though only by 15mm.

Ops Commentsnone

TO CommentsIntermittent cloud cover, steadily dropping temperatures did cause some problems.

RA CommentsHeavy clouds moving into area, especially in south, after stack completed at 3:20UT. Thick clouds around 09:00Ut, problems with hex5 cause closure.
