Problem Reports
PR NumberTimesTime LostDescriptionResponse
402907:30-08:2000:50Lower X slew torque limiter coupling disengaged; attempting slews in X caused skews.Called: Jim Fowler

We were able to fix this by making small slow slew motions in X -- 2mm moves in the direction opposite the one we were moving when this problem occurred. (TO is not sure if direction of small moves was important.) John Good suggests smoothing out the X slew acceleration ramp as a preventative measure.
403008:00-08:0000:00During a ~50mm skew the Tracker Operations tab did not display red Limit SW or Skew lights, amid the rack fault lights or in the Skew box, and did not require any overrides before further moves to correct the skew were made.

Ops Commentsnone

TO CommentsDid not open for persistent radar in county, and rainfall. Katie Smither was present for night portion of interview. John Good and I took several sets of 21-point test data.
